Promise Song Books Arrived May 2020
Born in the hills of East Tennessee, Katrina grew up with a love for the outdoors. Through Providence, she met her husband and they had a son. During the pregnancy, Katrina came up with a song as the seasons passed. Since then, her son's love for nature and enjoyment of reading children's books at bedtime inspired Katrina to publish a book from the song. Katrina's sons' name means "Promise" so as the song came together, the title became "Promise Song." You can email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Delores and Katrina's mother met through providence when they were in elementary school. Their families have remained friends for nearly 50 years. Knowing their illustration capabilities, Katrina reached out with her "Promise Song" book idea. Their encouragement, and support has helped make this possible. Paul and Delores (Dee) Gully are native Floridians, who met while attending Ringling College of Art and Design. Their combined God given talent has been utilized to illustrate books and curriculum worldwide. Their passion is to help children understand just how much God loves them. During their free time they enjoy traveling, hiking, fishing, reading, bicycling or relaxing to watch an action movie. View their site at: http://paulgullyillustrator.com
Providence plays a role in our lives if we choose to open our eyes and see God's will. "Promise Song" was first a song, and through providence, now a children's book to help us realize the seasons change - in nature. However, in our lives the seasons change too and we need to take time to recognize the beauty of each day and find joy in God's creation.
